Essendon put together their most complete performance of the season with a well-deserved 10–5 win over the MC OTG Pups. From the first whistle, the team looked calm and clinical. We hooked well, respected the umpires’ calls, and stayed focused on our structures. The boys moved the ball with composure, threading smart passes even under pressure — a big step forward from last week. Matt was outstanding in goals, pulling off key saves that lifted the team and kept momentum on our side. Up front, the scoring was shared right across the squad: Ryan led with 4 goals, Ambrose and Riccardo added 2 each, while Hayden and Vince chipped in with one apiece. And to top it off, Paul produced an unbelievable turn that had the crowd on their feet. This was a much-improved performance: disciplined, controlled, and team-first. If we keep building on this standard, there’s plenty more success to come.
