Well we are certainly close now to the end of this competition, though each grade appears to have a different end point and a different finals format! Let’s see if I have this figured out….
WSL1, WSL3 and MSL5 have now completed their games, and the top 4 teams play the first round of finals next week. JnrW and JnrM both have one more game on Sunday, then play finals the following week – for JnrW only the top 2 play off, JnrM its top 4. YthB have 2 more rounds to play then it appears (from the fixture) that 6 teams will play off in the finals (???) 14&U Boys apparently finished last week and play finals this Sunday 14&U Mixed have 2 more regular games to play and no finals (???)
Well, I’m glad I’ve cleared that up.
It looks like Essendon will have 3 teams in the finals – WSL3, MSL5 and YthB – with the chance of adding our JnrW to the list pending their game result this Sunday. Good luck to all our players for the games ahead!
TRAINING is on at the usual time (VU pool) – and with finals coming, there’s no time like to present to get yourself there!
